How far in advance do I have to book?

J Squared Audio books only ONE event per week. I recommend that you book at least six to eight months in advance. Contact me directly for questions on short notice availability.

How much of a retainer/deposit is required?

A 25% deposit is required with a signed contract to reserve your date. The final balance is due two weeks before your event.

Do you also provide wedding ceremony services?

I offer services for both wedding reception and ceremony.

How interactive are you?

I am as interactive as you want me to be. I can be a background figure that keeps the attention on the bridal party, completely outgoing, or any level in between. However, you will never hear me yelling or singing into the microphone. I still maintain a degree of professionalism no matter how outgoing you want me to be.

Can we see you perform at an event?
While this may seem practical, more and more brides as well as establishments are
prohibiting this from taking place. Brides consider it an intrusion and want the entertainer
concentrating on their event without having to perform for others. But you can read reviews of J Squared Audio at Wedding Wire, a third party wedding vendor review website.

When do you arrive to setup? Is there any charge for this?

I will arrive approximately two hours before your event to setup equipment.  Setup and teardown are always included in your price.

What do you require at the banquet facility?

I require 3 by 3 foot area for setup near the dance floor.  It is not required, but a small table is also nice to have as well.

How will you dress at my wedding?

I wear a dark suit and tie unless otherwise requested.

Do you have back up equipment?
I am constantly updating out equipment, the likelihood of a malfunction is rare, but I have plenty of backup equipment if needed.
